Service Description

Woolwax is a lanolin-based undercoating product designed to provide superior rust protection for vehicles, particularly in harsh winter conditions with road salt exposure. It's derived from wool grease and is known for being one of the thickest, most durable rust-inhibiting sprays available on the market. How Woolwax Works Woolwax stops rust by displacing moisture and oxygen—the two elements required for corrosion to occur. Unlike hard rubberized coatings that can trap moisture underneath, Woolwax remains soft and self-healing, allowing it to penetrate seams, overlaps, and existing rust areas. It creates a film barrier that prevents moisture and oxygen from reaching metal surfaces, halting the electrochemical reaction that causes oxidation. A key advantage is that Woolwax can be applied directly over surface rust—it won't reverse existing corrosion back to bare metal, but it will stabilize and stop rust from spreading further. This product is recomended for annual reapplication.
